Welcome to Blue Sky Rafting – the premier rafting company nestled in the breathtaking landscapes of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Established in 1975 by the visionary couple Gary and Pat Hansen, our company has been a pioneer in delivering unparalleled whitewater rafting experiences. In 2007, the legacy was entrusted to the capable hands of lifetime local Patrick Drake and longtime guide Geoffrey Olson, who, to this day, continue to uphold the values of family, adventure, and creating everlasting memories.

With almost five decades of river mastery, Blue Sky Rafting remains a family-owned and operated business, dedicated to providing outdoor enthusiasts with thrilling adventures and scenic floats. At Blue Sky Rafting, we recognize the significance of parking and location in the vacation planning process. Fortunately, we’ve mastered both aspects. As the sole adventure company situated in DOWNTOWN GLENWOOD SPRINGS, we take pride in providing you with an additional incentive to choose us for your shopping or adventure needs.

PARKING

Boasting more than 60 PARKING SPACES, we guarantee the availability of a spot just a few steps from our front door, ready and waiting for your arrival. Whether you’re driving a LARGE VEHICLE, CAMPER, RV, or towing a TRAILER, rest assured that we have multiple on-site parking spaces designed to accommodate vehicles of any size.

LOCATION

Located just 1 block from both I-70 and HWY 82, our base location is incredibly easy to drive to from any direction.  No company is located more conveniently.

  • From ASPEN / SNOWMASS, travel northwest on HWY 82.  Enter the main Glenwood Springs / Grand Ave. roundabout and travel 1 block west on W 6th Street.
  • From DENVER or east of Glenwood Springs, travel west on I-70 and take Exit 116. Enter the main Glenwood Springs / Grand Ave. roundabout and travel 1 block west on W 6th Street.
  • From GRAND JUNCTION or west of Glenwood Springs, travel east on I-70 and take Exit 116. Enter the main Glenwood Springs / Grand Ave. roundabout and travel 1 block west on W 6th Street.
